Abstract
Formation is a helping process for seminarians to develop their personalities and to achieve their vocation. It should embrace all of human dimensions: the physical, the intellectual, the emotional, the spiritual and the social. The formators should always be aware of the vitality and complexity of the seminarians’ growth. The psycho-emotional aspect is of primary importance, the one most needed by the seminarians. Reflecting the psycho-emotional life of the seminarian at St. Paul Major Seminary of Ledalero, we come to realize that the seminarians may do well spiritually and intellectually but they still have difficulties with their emotional life. They, therefore, need guidance to achieve maturity in their life and vocation.
