Abstract
This research aims to examine the digital skills required by catechists and pastors to reach the digital generation. The changing behavior of young people who are increasingly connected to the digital world demands that spiritual mentors adapt to the media and digital platforms they use. The research method used is a literature study, analyzing various sources such as books, articles, and reports related to the digital generation, digital skills, and church ministry. The results of the study show that catechists and pastors need digital skills such as mastery of digital platforms, creating engaging content, effective communication, and building relationships through digital media. Digital skills are an important factor in reaching the digital generation and building meaningful relationships. Therefore, it is necessary to provide training and development of digital skills for catechists and pastors. The church also needs to be encouraged to utilize technology in its ministry to be more relevant to the needs of the digital generation. Developing engaging digital programs and activities, such as online retreats, virtual discussion groups, and online ministry, is essential to strengthen the relationship between the digital generation and the church.
