Abstract

Interfaith Dialogue between Islam and Catholicism in Nanga. In this article, the group will explain implicitly about dialogue between communities with different beliefs in one of the areas of Talibura Parish, precisely in Nanga. Differences in religion, race, culture, or so on do not prevent them from collaborating and being tolerant of each other. In the sense that they respect each other and build dialogue that has a constructive nuance in reality life. In this article the group will also explain the history of the formation of Nanga village and the history of the arrival of Islam and Catholicism in Nanga. Apart from that, the group will also explain encounters between religious communities in Nanga, which aims to lead readers to better understand the dialogue practices that occur in Nanga. The results of the research will be discussed in this article so that readers can also learn more about inter-religious dialogue in Nanga. In this article, the group will also explain the meaning of inter-religious dialogue, explain relations between religious communities and provide a general overview of the contribution of inter-religious dialogue to a harmonious social environment for the people of Nanga.
